Job Requirements
- Prior experience as a Sous Chef is required
- Culinary certificate is a must
- Ability to work Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm
- Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
- Commitment to maintaining a drug-free workplace
- Ability to interact professionally with customers and staff
- Must be able to follow all food safety and sanitation regulations
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience as a Sous Chef
- Culinary certificate
- Ability to supervise and lead a team
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage inventory and control food waste
- Experience in a fast-paced food service environment
Job Duties
- Cook and prepare food following approved recipes and production standards
- Ensure all deadlines are met based on production orders
- Supervise hourly food service associates including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, counseling, and recommending disciplinary action
- Store food in designated areas following all corporate, state and federal food safety and sanitation procedures
- Ensure proper food handling, presentation, portion control and maintenance of appropriate serving temperatures
- Maintain sanitation of equipment, supplies and utensils
- Interact with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner
- Demonstrate complete understanding of daily menu items and accurately explain them to associates and customers
- Monitor inventory and deliveries of product and supplies
- Track product production, consumption and waste and inform supervisor when supplies or product are low
- Perform other duties as assigned
