Job Requirements

  • Previous sous chef experience required
  • Background check and drug screening required
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical kitchen tasks

Job Duties

  • Support the Executive Chef in all kitchen operations, maintaining the highest culinary and safety standards
  • Lead, train, and inspire kitchen staff to deliver excellence with every plate
  • Oversee daily food preparation, production, and presentation
  • Ensure consistency in quality, taste, and presentation that meets Ruth's Chris standards
  • Assist in menu development, inventory control, and cost management
