Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years experience in high-volume or quantity food production
- ServSafe and/or Food Manager Certification or ability to obtain
- Ability to follow recipes, portion standards, and food safety requirements
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and motivate teams
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Basic mathematics and computer skills
- Must speak, read, write, and understand English
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Maintain regular attendance and professional appearance
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment
Job Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of batch cooking and food production
- Ability to follow recipes and portion standards precisely
- Proven leadership and team coaching skills
- Strong time management and organizational abilities
- Basic math and computer skills for data entry and tracking
- Proficient in English reading, writing, and speaking
Job Duties
- Assist the Director of Culinary in daily kitchen operations planning and control
- Execute production schedules to achieve quality and cost goals
- Record production yields and waste, forecast needs
- Convert recipes and adjust batch sizes accurately
- Monitor and manage inventory, stock rotation using FIFO
- Enforce food safety compliance with HACCP and health regulations
- Inspect food quality for appearance, taste, and consistency
- Maintain clean and sanitary work environment
- Lead culinary team during shifts, provide training and coaching
- Communicate staffing and operational concerns
- Promote teamwork and accountability
- Support operations across multiple food programs
- Address customer concerns related to food quality and service
- Follow and enforce safety policies and proper equipment use
- Report incidents and unsafe conditions
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
- Maintain flexibility for cross-department support
