Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 4 years experience in culinary or food and beverage field OR 2-year degree from accredited institution in Culinary Arts or related field
  • 2 years experience in culinary or food and beverage
  • strong leadership skills
  • ability to manage kitchen operations
  • knowledge of sanitation and food handling standards
  • excellent communication skills
  • capability to prepare and cook food
  • experience with budget and labor management
  • ability to handle customer feedback and complaints

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Manage kitchen shift operations
  • estimate daily production needs and communicate to kitchen staff
  • assist Executive Chef with kitchen preparations
  • prepare and cook various types of food
  • develop and create new culinary ideas and presentations
  • maintain purchasing, receiving and food storage standards
  • ensure food handling and sanitation compliance
  • perform duties of kitchen staff as necessary
  • supervise and coordinate cooks and workers
  • lead shifts while preparing food
  • lead and motivate team with interpersonal skills
