Job Requirements

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must have relevant culinary experience
  • Ability to supervise and lead kitchen staff
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Proficiency with computer software including Microsoft Office
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to participate in client satisfaction programs

Job Qualifications

  • A.S. degree or equivalent experience
  • Some progressive culinary or kitchen management experience
  • Catering experience preferred
  • High volume, complex foodservice operations experience desirable
  • Knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, and presentation
  • Experienced with computers including Microsoft Office, Outlook, email, and internet
  • ServSafe certification highly desirable
  • Ability to participate in client satisfaction programs

Job Duties

  • Assist the Executive Chef with managing cost controls and control expenditures for the account
  • Assist the Executive Chef with planning and creating menus
  • Produce and execute catering events
  • Roll out new culinary programs in conjunction with company marketing and culinary team
  • Supervise hourly associates and support culinary staff
  • Develop daily menu items and oversee their preparation and garnishment
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
