Job Requirements
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must have relevant culinary experience
- Ability to supervise and lead kitchen staff
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Proficiency with computer software including Microsoft Office
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to participate in client satisfaction programs
Job Qualifications
- A.S. degree or equivalent experience
- Some progressive culinary or kitchen management experience
- Catering experience preferred
- High volume, complex foodservice operations experience desirable
- Knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, and presentation
- Experienced with computers including Microsoft Office, Outlook, email, and internet
- ServSafe certification highly desirable
- Ability to participate in client satisfaction programs
Job Duties
- Assist the Executive Chef with managing cost controls and control expenditures for the account
- Assist the Executive Chef with planning and creating menus
- Produce and execute catering events
- Roll out new culinary programs in conjunction with company marketing and culinary team
- Supervise hourly associates and support culinary staff
- Develop daily menu items and oversee their preparation and garnishment
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
