Job Requirements

  • Minimum 1-3 years kitchen supervisory experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venue
  • experience preparing catered events and presenting foods for special events preferred
  • relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • current ServSafe certification required

Job Duties

  • Adhere to company’s mandated food and beverage menu and purchasing programs
  • maintain budgeted revenue, costs of sales, labor, supplies, and operating cash flow related to food operations
  • review monthly profit and loss statements and adjust as necessary
  • plan, supervise, and execute banquet functions in absence of Kitchen Manager or Chef
  • estimate food consumption and make appropriate purchases
  • schedule staff efficiently according to business volume
  • partner with Kitchen Manager or General Manager to address and resolve disciplinary issues
  • ensure product quality, freshness, presentation, and proper food storage
  • assist with kitchen equipment maintenance and sanitation audits
  • maintain a clean and safe environment
  • report critical issues to General Manager
