Job Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years of culinary experience with 1-2 years in a leadership role
  • experience in athlete dining or nutrition-focused environments preferred
  • strong culinary fundamentals, organization, and leadership skills
  • culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification (current or to be obtained within timeframe)

Job Duties

  • Execute menus aligned with performance and recovery goals
  • ensure accurate preparation of individualized meals, allergies, and dietary needs
  • lead food production with consistency in recipes, portions, and presentation
  • assist the Chef de Cuisine with menu development, recipe testing, and documentation
  • maintain consistency across meal services, retail offerings, and events
  • provide feedback on menu performance and athlete satisfaction
  • supervise kitchen operations and staff during assigned shifts
  • train and coach team members on recipes, sanitation, and standards
  • promote a positive, professional, and high-performance kitchen culture
  • enforce ServSafe, HACCP, and health department standards
  • monitor food handling, storage, labeling, and cleanliness
  • assist with ordering, receiving, inventory, and waste control
  • serve as a key link between kitchen staff, the Chef de Cuisine, and performance teams
  • support scheduling, coverage, special events, and operational initiatives
