Job Duties

  • Execute and oversee the production of high-quality dishes that align with Loch Bar’s menu and standards
  • assist with planning, directing, and expediting food preparation during service
  • lead, train, and develop Cook-1, Cook-2, Cook-3, and other hourly BOH team members
  • maintain order, professionalism, and discipline in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • ensure food quality, presentation, consistency, and timing meet expectations every plate, every service
  • create and manage prep lists, schedules, and daily kitchen workflow
  • support menu tastings, product rotation, and inventory management
  • troubleshoot kitchen equipment and ensure all tools and appliances are in proper working order
  • enforce all restaurant policies, safety, and sanitation standards
  • delegate prep, cleaning, and station responsibilities during downtime
  • step in for the Executive Chef when needed to ensure seamless operations
