Job Duties
- Execute and oversee the production of high-quality dishes that align with Loch Bar’s menu and standards
- assist with planning, directing, and expediting food preparation during service
- lead, train, and develop Cook-1, Cook-2, Cook-3, and other hourly BOH team members
- maintain order, professionalism, and discipline in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- ensure food quality, presentation, consistency, and timing meet expectations every plate, every service
- create and manage prep lists, schedules, and daily kitchen workflow
- support menu tastings, product rotation, and inventory management
- troubleshoot kitchen equipment and ensure all tools and appliances are in proper working order
- enforce all restaurant policies, safety, and sanitation standards
- delegate prep, cleaning, and station responsibilities during downtime
- step in for the Executive Chef when needed to ensure seamless operations
