Job Requirements

  • Valid food handler's permit
  • Prior culinary experience
  • Ability to lead and supervise staff
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Strong knife skills
  • Basic culinary knowledge
  • Ability to work full-time schedule including varied days and times

Job Duties

  • Cook and prepare food following approved recipes and production standards
  • Ensure all deadlines are met based on production orders
  • Supervise hourly food service associates including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, counseling, and participating in reviews
  • Store food in designated areas following all food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Ensure proper food handling, presentation, portion control, and maintenance of serving temperatures
  • Maintain sanitation of equipment, supplies, and utensils and clean workstation thoroughly
  • Interact with customers to resolve complaints and relay information to supervisor
  • Demonstrate understanding of daily menu items and explain them accurately
  • Monitor inventory and deliveries, track production, consumption, and waste
  • Perform other assigned duties as needed
