Job Requirements

  • 2+ years of high-volume culinary management experience
  • Demonstrated working understanding of business operations and financials
  • Experience with POS systems and inventory control systems
  • Able to work ten-hour plus shifts and stand, sit, squat, or walk for extended periods
  • Must be able to work closing shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Able to grasp, reach overhead, push, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Finger/hand dexterity to operate kitchen machinery and knives
  • Ability to withstand temperature changes, smoke, steam, heat, and work in confined spaces
  • Must possess hearing, visual, and sensory abilities to observe and detect emergency situations and distinguish food quality aspects

Job Qualifications

  • 2+ years of high-volume culinary management experience
  • Demonstrated understanding of business operations and financials
  • Experience with POS systems and inventory control systems
  • Knowledge of POSitouch and Crunchtime is a plus
  • Ability to work long shifts with physical stamina
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Commitment to quality and safety standards

Job Duties

  • Manage shifts including daily decision making, scheduling, and planning
  • Demonstrate ingredient knowledge and understanding of culinary trends
  • Control cost of goods and seek solutions to meet financial targets
  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness, organization, and equipment care
  • Manage on-the-fly requests calmly in a fast-paced environment
  • Foster continuous learning, provide open and honest feedback, and implement corrective actions
  • Manage labor expectations and plan shifts accordingly
  • Understand and engage with sales and labor budgets and discuss P&L with management team
