Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of four years progressive responsibility in food service environments
  • ServeSafe certification preferred
  • ability to work varied shifts without late hours
  • strong leadership and team management skills
  • excellent organizational and communication abilities
  • capability to manage inventory and food ordering processes

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of four years progressive responsibility in full-service restaurant, catering, healthcare, country club, hotel, or cruise line environment
  • ServeSafe certification preferred
  • experienced in all cooking stations and methods

Job Duties

  • oversee food preparation and cooking in all production environments
  • direct and support day-to-day kitchen operations and supervise food production and sanitation staff
  • assist with hiring and training new kitchen staff
  • assume daily duties in the absence of the Executive Chef
  • manage kitchen opening, closing, and additional side duties as directed by the Executive Chef
  • participate in inventory management and development of par sheets
  • place food and supply orders
