Job Requirements
- minimum 1 year of full-service restaurant kitchen manager experience or 3-5 years of service industry management experience
- associate's degree in culinary, hospitality, management, or business preferred
- state food handler's management certification required
- internal candidates must be in good standing and free of performance issues within last year
- combined work experience and education will be considered

Job Duties
- assist the Executive Chef in providing quality food in a timely and efficient manner
- direct kitchen employees to maintain company standards in quality, cleanliness, and sanitation
- manage resources related to kitchen operations including food production and inventory control
- deliver an outstanding and memorable food experience to guests
- provide clear direction, delegate tasks, and trust culinary team to follow recipe and cleanliness standards
- uphold quality and safety of product during production, storage, and presentation
- maintain financial accuracy of sales, expenses, and inventory
- mentor and develop leadership skills within the culinary team
- ensure each shift is staffed with skilled team members
- foster a professional, supportive, respectful, and inclusive work environment
- communicate development pathways and responsibilities to team members
- document issues and maintain accountability for team actions
