Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, culinary arts degree/certification, or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of related restaurant or hospitality experience
  • at least 1 year of kitchen management experience
  • proven experience training and guiding kitchen teams
  • strong attention to detail
  • organization
  • problem-solving skills
  • ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • team-oriented leader with a positive, hands-on approach
  • gaming license preferred
  • ServSafe and Bloodborne Pathogens certification or ability to obtain

Job Duties

  • Train and mentor back-of-house team members, teaching culinary skills, techniques, and best practices
  • help plan, prepare, and execute banquets, special events, and daily service to company standards
  • work side-by-side with the team in multiple outlets - jumping in wherever needed
  • ensure all menu items are prepared according to recipes, yields, and presentation standards
  • assist with menu planning, recipe development, and POS menu programming
  • maintain clean, organized, and sanitary kitchens, walk-ins, storage areas, and workstations
  • lead daily kitchen priorities, assign prep and production tasks, and support efficient execution
  • conduct regular kitchen walk-throughs and address any operational or safety concerns
  • support hiring, scheduling, training, coaching, and development of kitchen staff
  • monitor inventory, place orders, and ensure proper storage, rotation, and waste control
  • help maintain kitchen equipment and ensure uniforms and nametags are worn properly
  • deliver excellent internal and external guest service - always
  • follow all food safety, health, safety, gaming regulations, and internal policies
  • perform other duties and special projects as needed
