Job Requirements

  • One year of previous culinary experience
  • One year of previous supervisory experience
  • Ability to work full-time Monday through Friday 6:00 am to 3:00 pm
  • Commitment to food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Ability to handle kitchen and food-service duties in the absence of the Executive Chef
  • Willingness to comply with company safety policies and use protective equipment
  • Eligibility to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • At least one year of culinary experience
  • At least one year of supervisory experience
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to lead and manage a team
  • Strong communication skills
  • Customer service orientation
  • Understanding of portion control and food presentation
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen

Job Duties

  • Cooks and prepares food following approved recipes and production standards
  • Ensures all deadlines are met based on production orders
  • Supervises hourly food service associates including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, counseling, and recommending disciplinary action
  • Stores food following all corporate, state, and federal food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Ensures proper food handling, presentation, portion control, and maintenance of appropriate serving temperatures
  • Maintains sanitation of equipment, supplies, and utensils and cleans workstation before leaving
  • Interacts with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly and service-oriented manner
  • Demonstrates complete understanding of daily menu items and accurately explains them to associates and customers
  • Monitors inventory and deliveries, tracks product production, consumption, and waste, and informs supervisor when supplies are low
  • Performs other duties as assigned
