Job Requirements

  • Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
  • minimum of one-year related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • current certification for ServSafe or ability to pass ServSafe within 90 days of employment
  • outgoing, energetic and enthusiastic attitude
  • enjoy hosting others
  • comfortable initiating conversations and creating a fun environment with guests

Job Duties

  • Foster a fun environment
  • be a gracious host to all guests and co-workers
  • promote a positive influence in the community and participate in company-sponsored events
  • provide for the safety of team members including keeping areas clean and free of safety hazards
  • develop, maintain and manage training programs
  • oversee and direct the preparation of food products with an emphasis on pastry products
  • ensure team members follow appropriate food handling procedures
  • direct and oversee rotation and storage of items to ensure freshness
  • develop and suggest recipes and products
  • develop menus for catering, sales, Grab and Go, and restaurants
  • use kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
  • assist in operation of other food and beverage venues as needed
  • handle customer complaints and support customer service programs
  • support, implement, administer and manage standards of excellence among team members
  • adhere to regulatory, department and company policies
  • make determinations regarding products, materials, supplies or tools
  • supervise and manage attendance and time records
  • manage departmental expenses including labor costs and staffing
  • supervise and manage work processes or procedures of team members
  • conduct pre-shift meetings and provide daily feedback
  • administer disciplinary actions
  • protect and preserve company assets
  • adhere to bargaining unit agreements
  • attend departmental and company training
  • compile and submit reports
  • follow company policies and procedures
  • adhere to gaming laws and regulations
  • perform job duties safely including keeping areas clean
  • meet department uniform, appearance and grooming requirements
  • perform any job duties to promote productivity or as requested by supervisors or management
