Job Requirements
- Prior supervisory and culinary service experience in hospitality industry
- Working knowledge of dining etiquette and food handling
- Prior professional cooking experience
- Knowledge of food service sanitation techniques
- ServSafe Certification strongly preferred
- At least two years cooking experience
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to perform repetitive movements
- Ability to reach, bend, twist, squat, kneel, push and pull
- Ability to use smell and taste to recognize odors and flavors
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions
- Frequent exposure to heat, cold, hot water, cleaning chemicals, and garbage disposals
- Constant use of manual dexterity, auditory and visual skills
- Frequent standing and walking, occasional sitting
Job Qualifications

- Fine dining experience preferred
- Working knowledge of dining etiquette and food handling techniques
- High level of customer service
- Prior professional cooking experience
- Knowledge of proper food service sanitation techniques
- ServSafe Certification strongly preferred

- High School Diploma or GED preferred
Job Duties
- Purchase all food products and cleaning supplies as directed
- Ensure food and supply stock is maintained regularly
- Stand in to actively cook when needed and during peak times
- Maintain organized production and regulatory record keeping
- Process all invoices timely and work with Business Office Manager on billing issues
- Review residents' dining restrictions
- Manage and schedule kitchen staff for maximum efficiency
- Ensure food consistency and quality by tasting and soliciting feedback
- Ensure kitchen cleanliness, sanitation, and safety
- Assist in hiring, time keeping, and performance management of kitchen staff
- Assist with other duties as assigned by Culinary Service Director
