Job Requirements
- Four years of progressively responsible culinary experience
- strong working knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, and execution
- proven experience as a Sous Chef or senior kitchen leader
- solid operational skills including cost control, purchasing, inventory, scheduling, and team development
- comfort using computer systems and common kitchen-related software
- experience in hotel kitchens or high-volume banquet environments
- eligibility to work in the United States
- ability to pass a background check
Job Qualifications

- proven experience working as a Sous Chef or senior kitchen leader in a professional, fast-paced kitchen environment
- solid operational skills including supporting cost control, purchasing, inventory, scheduling, and team development
- comfort using basic computer systems and familiarity with POS, inventory, and scheduling software
- experience in hotel kitchens and/or high-volume banquet, catering, or event-driven environments
- eligibility to work in the United States
- ability to successfully pass a background check
- formal culinary education or equivalent professional kitchen experience
- strong foundational skills with the ability to prepare dishes and components from scratch
- experience supporting large-scale events and banquets
- demonstrated ability to balance refined restaurant service with high-volume execution
- a background in kitchens that value seasonality, technique, and thoughtful sourcing
Job Duties
- Partner closely with the Executive Chef to lead the kitchen through daily service and large-scale events
- stay hands-on during prep and service, setting the pace and reinforcing high standards through example
- execute restaurant and banquet menus with consistency, precision, and pride
- help keep day-to-day operations running smoothly, from prep flow and station readiness to service execution
- support ordering, inventory, and cost awareness while maintaining ingredient quality and seasonality
- work alongside Events, Sales, and Front-of-House teams to support banquet planning, staffing, and execution
- train and coach cooks in technique, organization, and professionalism, helping the team grow together
- maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe kitchen at all times
- step in for the Executive Chef as needed to keep momentum and standards intact
