Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in a culinary or kitchen role
- familiarity with food safety standards and sanitation
- strong communication and leadership skills
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items
- culinary degree or relevant certification preferred
Job Qualifications
- Previous Sous Chef or lead cook experience preferred
- strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety
- ability to lead and work alongside a kitchen team
- organized, reliable, and detail-oriented
- able to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
Job Duties
- Assist the Executive Chef with daily kitchen operations
- supervise kitchen staff and provide guidance during service
- ensure food quality, presentation, and consistency
- support menu execution, prep, and production
- maintain food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards
- assist with inventory, ordering, and food cost control
- help train and develop kitchen team members
- ensure proper use and care of kitchen equipment
