Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of culinary management experience in a high-volume setting
- ServSafe Certification
- Basic computer skills including scheduling and time attendance software
- Knowledge of POS and inventory control systems
- Ability to lead and make decisions using restaurant management guidelines
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Willingness to learn and adapt quickly
- Friendly and approachable demeanor
Job Qualifications
- 3+ years of high-volume culinary management experience
- Possesses basic computer skills and the ability to work with a scheduling, time and attendance system
- Understand POS systems and inventory control systems
- ServSafe Certification required
Job Duties
- Achieve company objectives in sales, food quality, food presentation, kitchen safety, sanitation and cleanliness through training of employees and creating a positive, productive working environment
- Ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurant’s recipes, portioning, cooking, presentation and serving standards
- Fully understand and comply with all federal, state, county and municipal regulations that pertain to health, safety and labor requirements of the restaurant, employees and guests
- Demonstrate an advanced understanding of business operations and financials
- Manage shifts which include daily decision making, scheduling and planning
- Create memorable dining experiences by exceeding guest expectations
- Demonstrate ingredient knowledge and understanding of culinary trends
- Ensure adherence to recipes, safety practices and sanitation standards in the kitchen
- Perform calmly and effectively in a high-volume, open kitchen
- Manage on the fly requests with ease and poise
- Coach, lead and develop culinary team
