Job Requirements
- Must be able to obtain and maintain any necessary certifications and or licenses as required by local gaming regulations
- experience in kitchen management or related culinary role
- ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- strong organizational skills
- ability to work efficiently under pressure
- commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food quality
Job Qualifications
- Bilingual a plus
- proficiency in opening and closing procedures
- strong food knowledge
- solid understanding of health and sanitation standards
- skilled in proper cooking techniques and knife skills
- experience in mentoring and training kitchen staff
- excellent leadership and communication skills
Job Duties
- Participate in and oversee daily prep for all outlets
- perform daily line checks to ensure quality and consistency
- assist in training front and back of house staff on any specials
- assist in making sure banquets are prepped and executed to the Chefs standards
- maintain the cleanliness and organization of all walk-ins and all storage areas
- maintain company standards of quality and cleanliness
- follow all health and safety regulations
- perform daily sanitation walk throughs to ensure compliance
- actively participate in daily operations which includes working the restaurant line and wherever else is needed
- assist Executive Chef in hiring and training all cooks
- assist Executive Chef in properly staffing all hours of operation in all BOH outlets
- participate in interviewing and hiring based on staffing levels established by the Executive Chef
- mentor all BOH staff to be their best in preserving the quality of food that comes out of the kitchen
