Job Requirements

  • minimum 2-4 years experience as sous chef or equivalent
  • valid Food Handlers card
  • strong leadership abilities
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • excellent communication skills
  • availability to work full time
  • ability to mentor and manage kitchen staff effectively

Job Qualifications

  • minimum 2-4 years experience in sous chef or equivalent culinary leadership role
  • valid Food Handlers card
  • proven leadership and team development skills
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • ability to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ServSafe Food Safety Manager certificate is a plus

Job Duties

  • lead culinary team in fine dining restaurant upscale casual Bistro and catering services
  • oversee food preparation and presentation ensuring high quality standards
  • maintain food safety and sanitation across all kitchen and service areas
  • develop and mentor back-of-house team members promoting a culture of accountability
  • enforce Dining Services policies and procedures consistently
  • build positive relationships with community residents in line with PRS Core Values
  • monitor and control food quality to meet community expectations
