Job Requirements

  • must have at least 2 years of experience as an executive chef or sous chef
  • must have excellent knife skills
  • must be able to work varied hours and days as business dictates with open availability
  • must be at least 18 years of age
  • must have reliable transportation to work
  • must have extensive knowledge of safe food handling
  • must be able to communicate verbally in an articulate manner
  • must have prior experience training team members

Job Duties

  • maintain kitchen overall efficiency and organization
  • ensure food quality and customer satisfaction meet or exceed standards
  • manage receiving, storing, cleaning, preparing, and executing food items according to company standards
  • enforce sanitary food handling practices in the kitchen
  • act as a primary leadership presence in the kitchen
  • train and mentor kitchen team members
  • communicate effectively with the team and management
