Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Three to five years experience with kitchen operations and staff supervision
  • Certification in Serve Safe Management
  • Ability to speak, read, and comprehend instructions and policy documents
  • Strong organizational and issue management skills
  • Demonstrated team management and delegation abilities

Job Duties

  • Assist in supervising day to day activities of kitchen staff
  • Assign responsibilities and set deadlines to ensure timely completion of work
  • Promote safety and sanitation and follow HACCP procedures
  • Assist with menu planning, inventory, and managing supplies
  • Maintain cost control, service, and quality standards
  • Comply with company, franchise, and regulatory standards
  • Provide recommendations for personnel decisions and maintain positive associate relations
