Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of two years experience in a professional kitchen
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm
  • Capability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 25 pounds
  • Must adhere to dress code and safety protocols
  • Compliance with HSEQ policies and procedures
  • Willingness to participate in all required training
  • Strong commitment to environmental and quality standards

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a commercial kitchen
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and health department standards
  • Familiarity with HACCP guidelines and food safety protocols
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Provide the highest quality of service in accordance with ISS/Guckenheimer and client standards
  • Utilize food preparation procedures according to applicable federal, state, and local guidelines and regulations
  • Assist Executive Chef with administrative duties including attendance, human resources, and timelines
  • Monitor and review HACCP logs
  • Assemble RTE menu items according to recipes and core standards
  • Clean and sanitize work areas and equipment following ISS/Guckenheimer and government regulatory rules
  • Support management team with taking monthly inventory
  • Notify management of concerns with product quantities, food/equipment safety, or other issues
  • Attend all meetings of the day
  • Report all accidents and injuries promptly
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
