Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of relevant healthcare acute facility experience
  • Experience in a sous chef, executive chef, or managerial role
  • Culinary management skills
  • CDM/CFPP certification preferred
  • Culinary degree or diploma preferred

Job Duties

  • Assist executive chef in menu development and planning
  • Oversee food production to ensure quality and efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff
  • Act as executive chef in their absence
  • Collaborate with clinical and dietitian staff to meet dietary needs
  • Oversee all food receiving and production
