Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience as a sous chef or in kitchen supervisory role
  • sanitation certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
  • experience in high volume production or catering
  • availability to work weekends and holidays
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to work under pressure

Job Duties

  • assist with daily kitchen operations
  • create high-quality nutritious meals
  • ensure a pleasant dining experience for residents and guests
  • supervise all kitchen operations in the absence of the Dining Director
  • maintain kitchen sanitation and hygiene
  • manage kitchen staff and schedules
  • accommodate residents and guests dietary needs and preferences
