Job Duties

  • Proactively coaching and motivating team members to deliver their best
  • Identifying opportunities and driving improvement in location operations
  • Monitoring quality and sanitation standards
  • Delivering against financial goals and budgets
  • Setting the standard for culinary excellence
  • Overseeing equipment maintenance routines
  • Communicating and monitoring par levels
  • Supporting the creation of menu build diagrams and ensuring standards adherence
  • Ensuring adherence to kitchen management procedures including opening and closing checklists, cleaning schedules, temperature checks, waste sheets, and pest control
  • Creating menu specifications as needed
  • Setting standards for chef table setups
  • Creating prep sheets and line layout diagrams for consistent food production
  • Performing daily line checks to verify quality and flavor
  • Leading game day culinary operations
  • Managing end-of-month inventory with purchasing team
  • Proactively monitoring and managing food waste to control costs
  • Delivering training and coaching on menu and culinary skills
  • Managing employee breaks to ensure wellbeing
  • Conducting pre-shift meetings
  • Addressing performance issues through corrective action
  • Completing onboarding and orientation of new culinary team members
  • Ensuring all food operations meet Levy's sanitation and safety standards
  • Supporting other Levy locations as needed
  • Supporting recipe maintenance and updates
  • Managing culinary department budget
  • Performing other duties as assigned
