Job Requirements

  • 2-4 years of culinary experience
  • Ability to lead and train kitchen staff
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to write schedules and manage personnel
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Ability to maintain kitchen documentation
  • Capability to participate in and contribute to meetings

Job Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of culinary experience
  • Leadership skills preferred
  • Functional expertise in culinary operations preferred
  • Detail oriented
  • Dedicated with loyalty and integrity

Job Duties

  • Train kitchen associates in job duties including plate presentation and display work
  • Write schedules, evaluate, and direct all personnel
  • Maintain open verbal and written communication between management and associates
  • Write and present disciplinary action as needed
  • Provide associates with required tools and equipment
  • Address and resolve kitchen problems promptly
  • Participate in monthly department and weekly staff and kitchen meetings
  • Maintain kitchen records including roast meat charts, recipe cards, and use records
  • Prepare recipe cards and picture presentations of menu items
  • Ensure timely submission of payroll hours to Accounting Department
  • Supervise kitchen staff and utility/sanitation associates in absence of Executive Chef
