Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Four plus years of progressive culinary experience
  • Proven ability to lead and manage kitchen operations
  • Flexibility to work varied hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to work onsite
  • Willingness to relocate if commuting distance is not reasonable

Job Duties

  • Manage and lead culinary operations as a working manager ensuring clear and consistent communication
  • Forecast culinary needs, planning and managing kitchen supplies, equipment, food orders, staffing, inventory, and cost in line with budgets
  • Communicate and collaborate with Executive Chef, Executive Sous Chef, Food & Beverage Manager or supervisors to review event timelines and dietary restrictions
  • Demonstrate continuous training knowledge and stay updated with industry trends
  • Maintain high standards for food preparation, presentation and safety
  • Supervise kitchen staff and foster a positive team environment
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
