Job Qualifications

  • culinary degree or equivalent experience
  • at least 2 years of relevant culinary experience
  • proficiency in cooking and food preparation
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • leadership and staff training skills
  • ability to manage kitchen labor and inventory
  • strong communication and organizational skills
  • experience in fine dining preferred

Job Duties

  • manage all aspects of kitchen, food prep and service operations alongside executive chef and general manager
  • ensure accurate creation and presentation of all food items served to guests
  • maintain quality and accuracy in preparation of menu items
  • butcher all proteins
  • execute all paperwork related to chef position
  • learn and execute all kitchen positions effectively with ability to teach and assist staff
  • manage back of house labor meeting restaurant goals and guest requirements
  • order, stock and manage inventory levels and quality
  • maintain professional and welcoming attitude while at work
