Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- Minimum of one year cooking experience in restaurant or senior living or equivalent
- Ability to adhere to safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to prepare meals according to dietary restrictions and guidelines
- Availability to work part-time with weekends
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to maintaining quality and presentation standards
Job Qualifications

- Culinary degree preferred
- Minimum of one year restaurant, senior living or equivalent cooking experience
Job Duties
- Exemplify community standards of cleanliness, sanitation and operational organization at all times
- Adhere to food quality, appearance and presentation standards consistently
- Produce and serve menu cycle programs compliant with nutritional and dietary criteria as required by local regulations
- Prepare diets according to policy and procedure
- Exhibit cooking standards of speed, accuracy and efficiency
- Demonstrate knowledge in all areas of cooking preparation and production
- Assist with serving meals and ware washing as necessary
- Visit residents periodically to evaluate food service including quality, quantity, temperature and appearance
- Conduct evaluations to revise operations and procedures to improve food service
- Represent the community in a warm and inviting manner
- Support a culture where business decisions and employee engagement drive top-line revenue and occupancy
