Job Requirements

  • Prior culinary supervisory experience
  • Availability for full time schedule including weekends and open availability
  • Ability to work varying hours as needed
  • Capability to perform physical tasks required in a kitchen environment

  • Ability to resolve customer complaints professionally

Job Qualifications

  • Prior culinary supervisory experience
  • Ability to coordinate activities of cooks and food service associates
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Experience in handling food presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage inventory and track product production, consumption and waste
  • Customer service orientation

Job Duties

  • Cooks and prepares food following approved recipes and production standards
  • Ensures all deadlines are met based on production orders
  • Supervises hourly food service associates including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, counseling, participating in reviews and recommending disciplinary action as appropriate
  • Stores food in designated areas following corporate, state and federal food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Ensures proper food handling, presentation, portion control and maintenance of appropriate serving temperatures
  • Maintains sanitation of equipment, supplies and utensils and cleans workstation thoroughly before leaving area
  • Interacts with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner and relays relevant information to supervisor
