Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 4 years experience in culinary or food and beverage
- or 2-year degree from accredited university in culinary arts, hotel and restaurant management, or related major
- 2 years experience in culinary or food and beverage
- Must be able to perform all duties of kitchen managers and employees
- Ability to comply with all applicable laws and regulations
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
- Availability to work full time
- Eligible to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with 4 years of culinary or related experience
- OR 2-year degree in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related field with 2 years of relevant experience
- Proven leadership and kitchen management skills
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to prepare and cook a variety of foods
- Skilled in culinary creativity and food presentation
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience with labor management and scheduling
- Capability to train, coach and mentor staff
- Demonstrated ability to resolve customer service issues
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities

Job Duties
- Manage kitchen shift operations and comply with food and beverage policies
- Estimate and communicate daily production needs to kitchen staff
- Assist Executive Chef with kitchen operations and food preparation
- Prepare and cook various food types including special functions
- Develop new culinary applications and creative food presentations
- Maintain standards for purchasing, receiving, and food storage
- Ensure compliance with food handling and sanitation standards
- Supervise and coordinate activities of kitchen staff
- Lead shifts while preparing food and meeting specifications
- Use interpersonal skills to lead and motivate team
- Foster trust, respect, and cooperation among staff
- Serve as a role model with appropriate behaviors
- Maintain employee productivity and enforce expectations
- Establish collaborative team relationships
- Implement fair and consistent property policies
- Communicate performance expectations and provide feedback
- Recognize and reward successful performance
