Job Requirements
- Must be able to work Monday-Friday, 7a-3:30p
- Formal Culinary Training or minimum of 4 years culinary experience preferred
- Experience with high-volume food service operations
- Experience with purchasing and ordering preferred
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Flexibility to switch between locations and job duties
- Growing knowledge of sustainable practices
- ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification preferred
Job Qualifications
- Formal culinary training or equivalent experience
- Minimum of four years culinary experience preferred
- Experience with high-volume food service operations, preferably in school environments
- Experience with purchasing and ordering preferred

- Knowledge of sustainable culinary practices
Job Duties
- Ensure quality and timeliness of food production using batch-cooking methods
- Assist the Executive Chef with all aspects of production
- Train additional kitchen staff in accordance with company recipes and kitchen policies
- Conduct training and in-services for staff in an assigned area
- Use traditional, made-from-scratch preparation methods and keep accurate production logs
- Participate in transporting, setting up, garnishing, maintaining, and breaking down food and supplies at assigned stations
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards and all HACCP recordings
- Manage food and product ordering by keeping detailed records and minimizing waste through sustainability programs
- Supervise all food preparation and presentation to ensure quality and restaurant standards
- Guide kitchen personnel in safe operating procedures of all equipment, utensils, and machinery
- Conduct daily pre-production and service meetings and ensure serving food according to standards
- Assist Executive Chef and Director when necessary with purchasing, ordering, team production, quality assurance, and other duties as requested
