Job Requirements

  • 2 plus years of previous experience as an executive chef or sous chef in a full-service or cafe style restaurant
  • Must have quality knife skills and work safely
  • Able to communicate verbally in an articulate manner
  • Has prior experience training team members
  • Extensive knowledge of safe food handling
  • Must be able to work varied hours/days as business dictates
  • Candidates will not be considered unless they have open availability
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have reliable transportation to work

Job Duties

  • Maintain kitchen efficiency and organization of hourly team to meet restaurant service demands
  • Ensure food quality and customer satisfaction meet or exceed standards
  • Oversee proper receiving, storage, cleaning, preparation, and execution of all food items according to company standards and brand
  • Enforce sanitary food handling practices among kitchen staff
  • Provide primary leadership within the kitchen and demonstrate professional conduct at all times
  • Train and mentor team members
  • Manage inventory and kitchen workflows
