Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in high-volume catering
  • Ability to work full time Monday through Friday with variable hours
  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily
  • Willingness to comply with company drug-free workplace policy
  • Ability to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills

Job Qualifications

  • Prior experience in high-volume catering
  • Ability to supervise and manage culinary staff
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work full-time Monday through Friday with flexible hours
  • Culinary training or equivalent professional experience

Job Duties

  • Cooks and prepares food following approved recipes and production standards
  • Ensures all deadlines are met based on production orders
  • Supervises hourly food service associates including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, counseling, and performance management
  • Stores food properly following corporate, state, and federal food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Maintains proper food handling, presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures
  • Ensures cleanliness of equipment, supplies, utensils, and workstations
  • Interacts with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner
  • Demonstrates knowledge of daily menu items and accurately explains them
  • Monitors inventory and deliveries, tracks product production, consumption, and waste
  • Performs other duties as assigned
