Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- minimum of two years experience as a chef in a large-scale cooking operation preferred
- prior dietary experience in LTC, SNF, AL, or MC setting preferred
- excellent written and oral communication skills
- professional image in appearance and behavior
- flexible and energetic personality
- passion for working with seniors

Job Duties
- ensure all food items are prepared to culinary standards and provide residents with an exceptional dining experience
- maintain portion control and minimize waste
- inspect all aspects of culinary service including logs, cooking equipment, storage rotation, and food service to ensure cleanliness and sanitation
- perform area sanitation tasks including cleaning cooking equipment and workstations
- ensure foot safety is maintained at all times
- assist in leading the culinary team in day-to-day operations
- uphold professional appearance and behavior
