Job Requirements

  • minimum of 1-3 years of kitchen supervisory experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venue
  • experience preparing catered events and presenting foods for special events desirable
  • current ServSafe certification
  • relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

Job Duties

  • adhere to the company’s mandated food and beverage menu and purchasing programs
  • maintain budgeted revenue, costs of sales, labor, supplies, and operating cash flow related to food operations
  • work with the operations team and sales staff to plan, supervise, and execute banquet functions including food preparation, service, and clean-up
  • estimate food consumption and make purchases according to specified food programs
  • schedule staff efficiently to accommodate business volume shifts
  • partner with the kitchen manager/chef or general manager to resolve disciplinary issues and foster teamwork
  • ensure product quality, freshness, and presentation meet company standards
  • supervise preparation, portioning, garnishing, and storage of food
  • assist in managing kitchen equipment maintenance and sanitation audits in compliance with Department of Health regulations
  • maintain a clean, safe kitchen environment
  • report critical issues to the general manager promptly
