Job Requirements
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
- At least 3 years of professional experience as a Sous Chef in Chinese cuisine
- Proven leadership ability in a kitchen environment
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations
- Ability to work under pressure and multitask effectively
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Sous Chef specializing in Chinese cuisine
- Strong knowledge of traditional and modern Chinese cooking techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen hygiene
- Passion for culinary excellence and creativity
Job Duties
- Assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations
- Ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation
- Oversee and train kitchen staff
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and compliance with food safety standards
- Manage inventory and ordering of kitchen supplies
- Develop and help refine menu items specializing in Chinese cuisine
- Coordinate workflow to maintain efficiency during busy service periods
