Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • willingness to work weekends and holidays
  • valid food handler's card
  • experience working in a high-volume kitchen
  • basic computer knowledge
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to maintain high food and safety standards and positive attitude

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • proven cooking experience including as a sous chef
  • excellent knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
  • basic computer knowledge and experience
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • valid food handler's card

Job Duties

  • assist in training new and existing kitchen staff on the preparation, arrangement and plating of dishes per the current menu
  • assist the chef with culinary and administrative tasks
  • set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
  • maintain high food standards and safety compliance
  • execute assigned cooking tasks with accuracy and speed
  • maintain positive and professional attitude with guests and team members
  • contribute to resident and guest satisfaction through quality food and service
