Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-3 years kitchen supervisory experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venue
  • Experience preparing catered events and presenting foods for special events desirable
  • Relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Current ServSafe certification required

Job Duties

  • Adhere to company’s mandated Food & Beverage menu and purchasing programs
  • Maintain budgeted revenue, cost of sales, labor, supplies, and operating cash flow related to food operations
  • Work with Operations and Sales team to plan, supervise, and execute banquet functions
  • Estimate food consumption and make purchases accordingly
  • Schedule staff efficiently to meet business volume
  • Partner with Kitchen Manager or General Manager to resolve disciplinary issues and foster team work
  • Ensure product quality, freshness, and presentation meet company standards
  • Oversee preparation, portioning, garnishing, and storage of food
  • Assist with kitchen equipment maintenance and compliance with Department of Health regulations through sanitation audits
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Report critical issues to General Manager promptly
