Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • night and weekend availability is required
  • minimum of 1 to 3 years of kitchen supervisory experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venue
  • current ServSafe certification
  • ability to walk, bend, and stand for extended periods
  • ability to lift objects with some assistance
  • relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 to 3 years of kitchen supervisory experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venue
  • experience preparing catered events and presenting foods for special events is desirable
  • relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • current ServSafe certification

Job Duties

  • Adhere to company’s mandated food and beverage menu and purchasing programs
  • maintain budgeted revenue, costs of sales, labor, and supplies related to food operations
  • review monthly profit and loss statements and adjust as necessary
  • work with operations and sales staff to plan, supervise, and execute banquet functions
  • estimate food consumption and make purchases as appropriate
  • schedule staff efficiently to meet business volume
  • partner with kitchen manager or general manager on disciplinary issues and foster teamwork
  • ensure product quality, freshness, and presentation meet company standards
  • supervise preparation, portioning, garnishing, and storage of all food
  • assist chef with kitchen equipment maintenance and sanitation audits
  • ensure a clean, safe environment is maintained
  • report critical issues promptly to general manager
