Job Duties
- Hire, fire, and discipline team members when appropriate
- have complete knowledge of the restaurant's food and beverage specifications
- open and close the restaurant by balancing funds properly and completing all paperwork
- check proper opening and closing of kitchen and dining areas
- perform roles such as server, support team, bartending, and kitchen duties as needed
- interact with guests in a friendly and timely manner
- ensure total cleanliness and smooth operation of the restaurant
- monitor guests consuming alcoholic beverages and take appropriate action if intoxication is apparent
- treat all guests to ensure complete satisfaction and strive to exceed their expectations
- maintain neat and clean uniform and personal hygiene
- relocate to new or existing locations if needed
- demonstrate punctuality and reliability
- understand controllable costs affecting the store's profitability and contribute to improvements
- communicate effectively with other managers via emails and logbook
- follow manager reference binder procedures and practices
- handle team member performance issues according to proper procedures
- interact, socialize, coach, and teach peers and team members consistently in a positive manner
- cultivate a safe, secure, and harassment-free culture for team members
