Job Requirements

  • Proven experience as a sous chef or similar role
  • Excellent knowledge of culinary techniques and ingredients
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Degree from a culinary school is a plus

Job Duties

  • Assist the Head Chef in managing the kitchen and ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest quality standards
  • Manage the kitchen staff ensuring that all food is prepared in a timely manner
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen
  • Ensure that all food is prepared in accordance with health and safety regulations
  • Assist in menu planning and recipe development
  • Train and mentor kitchen staff
  • Order and maintain inventory of kitchen supplies and equipment
  • Assist in the preparation of food as needed
