Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-3 years of kitchen supervisory experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venue
  • Experience preparing catered events and presenting foods for special events desirable
  • Relevant experience or equivalent education and experience combination
  • Current ServSafe certification required

  • Ability to maintain high food quality and safety standards
  • Good communication and organizational skills

Job Duties

  • Adhere to the company's mandated food and beverage menu and purchasing programs
  • Maintain budgeted revenue, costs of sales, labor, supplies, and operating cash flow related to food operations
  • Review monthly profit and loss statements and make necessary adjustments
  • Work with the Operations team and Sales staff to plan, supervise, and execute banquet functions in the absence of the Kitchen Manager or Chef
  • Supervise preparation and service of food and refreshments, including clean-up
  • Estimate food consumption and make purchases according to the specified food program
  • Schedule staff efficiently to accommodate business volume shifts
  • Partner with Kitchen Manager or General Manager to address and resolve disciplinary issues and foster teamwork
  • Ensure product quality, freshness, and presentation meet company standards
  • Oversee preparation, portioning, garnishing, and storage of all food
  • Manage kitchen equipment maintenance and local Department of Health sanitation audits
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment consistently
  • Report critical issues to General Manager promptly
