Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar culinary leadership role
  • valid food handler’s card
  • willingness to work weekends and holidays
  • ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • strong commitment to food quality and safety standards
  • basic computer knowledge and experience
  • experience in a high-volume kitchen environment

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • proven cooking experience including experience as a Sous Chef
  • excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
  • basic computer knowledge and experience
  • experience working in a high-volume kitchen
  • valid food handler's card
  • ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude

Job Duties

  • assist in training new and existing kitchen staff on the preparation, arrangement and plating of dishes as per the current menu
  • assist the Chef with culinary and administrative tasks
  • ensure stations are set up and stocked with necessary supplies
  • maintain high standards of food quality, sanitation and safety
  • operate in a high-volume kitchen environment with speed and accuracy
  • maintain a positive and professional attitude with guests and team members
  • contribute to resident and guest satisfaction through excellent food and service
