Job Requirements

  • Culinary education and/or equivalent experience
  • minimum of 3 years experience in a supervisory kitchen role
  • excellent leadership and communication skills
  • strong organizational abilities
  • ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • proficiency in inventory management and cost control
  • flexibility to work varying shifts including weekends and holidays
  • commitment to maintaining high-quality culinary standards

  • availability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Menu planning and designing the plating presentation for each dish
  • ensuring that all food meets the highest quality standards and is served on time
  • hiring and training of kitchen staff to prepare and cook all menu items
  • collaborating with restaurant operations team
  • optimizing staff productivity
  • manage kitchen workflow during peak times or when a station needs additional support
  • managing product inventory and placing orders as needed
  • ensuring best practices are followed for safety and sanitation in the kitchen
  • monitoring new industry trends
  • incorporating feedback from staff and guests to make improvements
  • manage scheduling, payroll, coaching, training, and development of team members
  • ensure full compliance with Department of Health regulations and Hyatt standards
