Job Requirements

  • Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
  • Minimum of one-year related experience and/or training
  • Certification for ServSafe or capable of passing ServSafe within 90 days
  • Outgoing, energetic and enthusiastic attitude
  • Enjoy hosting others
  • Comfortable initiating conversations and creating a fun environment with guests

Job Duties

  • Foster a fun environment
  • Be a gracious host to all guests and co-workers
  • Promote a positive influence in the community and participate in company-sponsored events
  • Provide for the safety of team members, including keeping areas clean and free of safety hazards
  • Develop, maintain and manage training programs
  • Oversee and direct the preparation of food products including cutting, trimming, chopping, slicing, carving, mixing, cooking, sautéing, grilling, frying, broiling, baking, and steaming with emphasis on pastry products
  • Ensure that all team members follow appropriate food handling procedures
  • Develop and suggest recipes and products
  • Develop menus for catering, sales, Grab and Go, and restaurants
  • Use kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
  • Assist in operation of other food and beverage venues as needed
  • Handle customer complaints and support customer service programs
  • Implement and manage standards of excellence among team members
  • Adhere to regulatory, department, and company policies and procedures
  • Supervise attendance and time records
  • Manage departmental expenses effectively
  • Conduct pre-shift meetings and provide daily positive feedback
  • Administer disciplinary actions as necessary
  • Protect company assets
  • Attend training programs and meetings
  • Compile and submit reports
  • Follow all company policies and procedures
  • Adhere to gaming laws and regulations
  • Maintain department appearance and grooming standards
  • Perform duties safely and responsibly
  • Execute any reasonable requests by management to promote productivity
