Job Requirements

  • Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
  • minimum of one-year related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • current certification for ServSafe or capable of passing ServSafe within 90 days of employment
  • outgoing energetic and enthusiastic attitude
  • enjoyment of hosting others
  • comfortable initiating conversations and creating a fun environment with guests

Job Duties

  • Foster a fun environment
  • be a gracious host to all guests and co-workers
  • promote a positive influence in the community and participate in company-sponsored events
  • provide for the safety of team members including maintaining clean and hazard-free areas
  • develop, maintain and manage training programs
  • oversee and direct preparation of food products including pastry creation
  • ensure all team members follow safe food handling procedures
  • manage rotation and storage of items to ensure freshness
  • develop and suggest recipes and products to maintain industry leadership
  • develop menus for catering, sales, Grab and Go, and restaurants
  • ensure safe and efficient use of kitchen equipment
  • assist in operation of other food and beverage venues as needed
  • handle customer complaints and support customer service programs
  • support and manage standards of excellence among team members
  • adhere to regulatory, department and company policies and procedures
  • make determinations regarding products, materials, supplies or tools to be used
  • supervise and manage attendance and time records of team members
  • manage departmental expenses including labor costs and staffing while achieving guest satisfaction
  • supervise and manage work processes or procedures of team members
  • conduct individual or group pre-shift meetings and provide daily positive feedback
  • administer disciplinary action including warnings, suspensions and termination recommendations
  • protect and preserve assets of the company
  • understand and adhere to bargaining unit agreements
  • attend departmental and company training programs or meetings
  • compile information and submit reports as needed
  • adhere to company policies and gaming laws
  • perform all duties safely including maintaining cleanliness and safety
  • meet department uniform, appearance, and grooming requirements
  • perform other duties to promote productivity as requested by management
