Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- proven cooking experience as a Sous Chef in fine dining
- experience working in a high-volume kitchen
- willingness to obtain First Aid/CPR certification
- ability to lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds
- ability to stand for long periods
- willingness to work weekends and holidays
- maintain a positive and professional attitude when dealing with residents, family members, visitors, and team members
Job Qualifications
- proven cooking experience as a Sous Chef in fine dining
- experience working in a high-volume kitchen
- experience in culinary and administrative kitchen responsibilities
- possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- willingness to obtain First Aid/CPR certification
- strong leadership and teamwork skills
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Job Duties
- assist the Chef with culinary and administrative tasks
- contribute to resident and guest dining satisfaction and goals
- maintain high food quality, product standards, sanitation, and safety
- assist in training new and existing kitchen staff in preparation, arrangement, and plating of dishes per the current menu
- work collaboratively with the culinary team to uphold Touchmark's values and standards
- manage kitchen activities in the absence of the Chef
- maintain a positive and professional attitude when interacting with residents, family members, visitors, and team members
