Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • proven cooking experience as a Sous Chef in fine dining
  • experience working in a high-volume kitchen
  • willingness to obtain First Aid/CPR certification
  • ability to lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds
  • ability to stand for long periods
  • willingness to work weekends and holidays
  • maintain a positive and professional attitude when dealing with residents, family members, visitors, and team members

Job Qualifications

  • proven cooking experience as a Sous Chef in fine dining
  • experience working in a high-volume kitchen
  • experience in culinary and administrative kitchen responsibilities
  • possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • willingness to obtain First Aid/CPR certification
  • strong leadership and teamwork skills
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • assist the Chef with culinary and administrative tasks
  • contribute to resident and guest dining satisfaction and goals
  • maintain high food quality, product standards, sanitation, and safety
  • assist in training new and existing kitchen staff in preparation, arrangement, and plating of dishes per the current menu
  • work collaboratively with the culinary team to uphold Touchmark's values and standards
  • manage kitchen activities in the absence of the Chef
  • maintain a positive and professional attitude when interacting with residents, family members, visitors, and team members
